The skills program is a registered skills program of the Quality Council of Trade and Occupations (QCTO)
Purpose of the Skills Program
A Technopreneur will be able to establish, manage and grow a business and create client relationships related to the 4IR skills in order to employ the local community.
Tasks that the learner will be able to know, do and understand after achievement of the skills programme include:
- Research problems, opportunities and solutions
- Conceptualise a product or service and business idea
- Manage and grow a business
Methodology
The skills program can be presented at the client’s venue if a group needs to be trained. A classroom is available for face-to-face training, and online classes can be scheduled. A Learner Management System (LMS) is used to capture the evidence of Portfolios and Assignments.
